Microdermabrasion

Part of the appeal of microdermabrasion is the lack of side effects associated with this procedure.

This allows you to have microdermabrasion multiple times a month. No downtime is needed, and you can resume your daily activities immediately after each session.

Common side effects of microdermabrasion include mild tenderness, swelling, and redness. These generally go away within a few hours after treatment. Follow each session with a moisturizer tailored to your skin type. You’ll also need to wear sunscreen every day. Microdermabrasion can make your skin more sensitive to UV rays, leading to burns. This sun sensitivity can also increase your risk for sun-related pigmentation.
